 1. I did not necessarily learn new skills while building the website for our assignment. I have always enjoyed working on websites so this assignment was especially fun for me by editing and creating text boxes and adding photos that are relevant. This assignment can bring out the creativity in students by adding colors, photos, information, and strategically put it all together to look organized. Having knowledge on website building can help my future career by teaching students such a skill or create my own website related to my classes, such as blogs that allow for easy communication between students and teachers. http://gmarco1997.weebly.com/

2. I have not used Diigo whatsoever. I still am not entirely sure what the website does or how it can help and it is something I wish I could have taken the time to learn it. It isnt something i am necessarily proud of either as it can affect my assignments if I do not use it. I plan on learning Diigo for the next portfolio check.

3. I believe all teachers in this digital age should know how to use technology. I can see how older and elderly teachers may have trouble learning a new skill in technology. However, all newcoming teachers should know the basics of website building, blog creating, microsoft programs, and how to work the settings of a computer. I have learned all of these things in my lifetime and I think all new teachers should too. https://www.edsurge.com is a website that talks about current events regarding technology in education and it provides up to date information through articles about how schools are implementing new policies and curriculum based on technological advances.

    I think the contrast between the background and the color of the words work well together. For repetition I think it was well done, but I would recommend keeping the font the same size all the way through. The alignment needs to be a little more stable on each page, but it is not a huge issue. The proximity was good throughout. Good job!

 1. I’ve used Microsoft Word my entire education career. I’ve always found the program user friendly and essential for both students AND teachers alike. I've found that assignments and essays can be done efficiently through Microsoft Word. I would like to expand my knowledge on formatting and the use of cover pages. I prefer the use of Microsoft Word because of the experience I've gained through it and how easy it is to send documents with it, whereas Google docs may take a few extra steps to get the right file format. 2. The ISTE Standards for Educators is a blueprint for efficient learning for both educators and students using new technology that the 21st century has offered.  1. Ive thoroughly enjoyed using twitter so far this semester. i am an avid Twitter user outside of this class so using it for educational purposes is a lot of fun. i havent been interacting with too many people outside of some the tech talks, but i am always open to expanding my digital profile in terms of my educative twitter profile. twitter can be very useful in my career field. i can have classes follow a main twitter account (mine) and i will have updates on education talks and maybe reminders for certain students that assignment due dates are upcoming. twitter may be a distraction considering it is a popular social media site, but if used properly it can be a major help for students and teachers. 2.
